AEC Classes for Fall 2020 are Hybrid-Online

Instruction will be online with some required synchronous online meetings each week. The schedule is listed below and will also be listed on your Blackboard site and in your syllabus. When you are not meeting synchronously, you will have other work that you will be required to complete on your own throughout the week.

If you are in Lawrence and taking Listening/Speaking/Grammar (LSG), EAP 101 or EAP 102, you have the option to come to campus for face-to-face Conversation Groups with Language and Culture Liaisons. If you cannot or do not want to participate in in-person Conversation Groups, you can sign up for online Conversation Groups by emailing Please note that all LSG, EAP 101 and EAP 102 students must attend at least one 45 minute session of Conversation Groups each week either in person OR online.

If you are in Lawrence and taking Reading/Writing/Grammar (RWG), EAP 121 or EAP 122, you have a language lab component for this course with a Lab Assistant available to help you.  If you cannot or do not want to participate in this in-person language lab, email
