Are you curious about college life in the U.S.? Learn about U.S. university life from the comfort of your own home!
The first course in this series describes the U.S. university system, helps you understand what university resources and support are available for students, and gives you a picture of student life both on campus and in the broader community.
University Life 2
The second course takes you into the university classroom where you will learn about U.S. academic culture, learning strategies, technology skills, and how to apply to U.S. universities.
Anyone can take these courses, but the content is presented at an intermediate level of proficiency. At the end of each course, students will take a test that gives them an idea of where they would begin their studies should they choose to study in the U.S.
In these courses you will:
- Learn what it's like to be a student in a U.S. university
- Get a better understanding of the resources that are available to you as a student
- Gain a picture of student life both on campus and off
- Get an idea of your level of English proficiency
LENGTH & COST
Each course is 4 weeks long and costs $398 (plus additional fees). Students will earn 1 KU credit for this course.
