AEC Accreditation and Memberships

 

The AEC's Intensive English Program (IEP) is accredited by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA) through December 2027 and agrees to uphold the CEA Standards for English Language Programs and Institutions. CEA is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a national accrediting agency. The Applied English Center is a proud member of EnglishUSA which promotes and supports ethical and professional standards for intensive English programs in the U.S; communicates and champions the value of English language study; enhances the visibility of member programs; and fosters professional development among members.

The Center is proud to be a member of University and College Intensive English Programs (UCIEP), a consortium of university and college intensive English programs. All programs in this consortium have met high standards to ensure that students receive the most advanced methods of intensive English instruction from trained, professional instructors.

Each semester year, the AEC enrolls about 250 students representing more than 35 countries on six continents.
