Issues in Language Instruction
The Applied English Center at the University of Kansas publishes an academic e-journal called, Issues in Language Instruction (ILI). ILI is a peer-reviewed journal for and by university instructors of English to speakers of additional languages (EAL). The mission of the journal is to explore innovation in EAL instruction in Intensive English Programs (IEP) and English Language Programs at the university level. General areas for publication include English for academic purposes, English for professional purposes, and general ESL. Users of ILI can read about innovations in the practice, interpretation, and advancement of our profession.
