The Intensive English Program (IEP) focuses on academic English and helps prepare students linguistically, academically, and culturally for their program of study.

Our IEP has five levels of English from beginning to advanced, with courses focusing on listening, speaking, reading, writing, and grammar. Students enrolled in levels four and five may be on the KU Fast Track and also enroll in other KU courses.

  • Levels 1 to 3 = Full-time English study
  • Level 4 = Part-time English study + 3 KU credits (1 KU course)
  • Level 5 = Part-time English study + 8 KU credits (2 KU courses)
