Refund Policy

Withdrawals and Refunds

If you wish to withdraw from the program, you must email aec-tefl@ku.edu, stating your intent to withdraw. 

• Candidates withdrawing at least 15 days prior to the start of the session will receive a 100% refund of the amount paid.
• Candidates withdrawing 14 days or less prior to the start of the session will not be eligible for a refund.

If the session is cancelled by the Applied English Center due to low enrollment, all costs will be refunded.

Deferrals

If you wish to defer your enrollment to a later session, you must email aec-tefl@ku.edu, stating your desire to defer and indicating which future session you would like to enroll in.  Deferrals can be made up to 7 days prior to the start of the session for which you are currently enrolled.  However, if you defer to a later session and then cancel your enrollment for the later session, you will not be eligible for a refund.
